I have the most terrible time getting rid of stuff too! What if I need it? What if I just want to look at it again? Yet another side of me hates the American obsession with "stuff"... isn't life about more than that? Wasn't I just fine for nine weeks in Uganda with two suitcases? But when I look at it, I just can't part with it. I think what I need is someone else to get rid of stuff for me. That way, I might not ever even know it was gone... Amen. But I certainly understand what you're saying, Geoff came with one of those chairs. Geoff and I are going through the same thing since we're trying to make way for a new baby. Some things I say take a picture of, but something like those cards - you have a very good point about people's handwriting. Maybe keep just some of them.
