So, it didn’t rain and then it did rain and then it got cold. And I happily got out my sweaters (don’t you just love the transition to long sleeves?)…only to find that most of them don’t fit anymore! I’m going to assume that they don’t fit because the washer and dryer I inherited through marriage was purchased by a college boy 11 or 12 years ago. The fact that I hand-wash and hang-dry most of my sweaters is totally irrelevant. So, clearly the washer and dryer need to be moved to the urgent “things we need to buy” list–along with a list of clothing items. I know there is someone out there who understands my logic.
